After months on hiatus, Society56 is back with a new blog and new alerts on all things natural, green, and organic. Karrine will share with you her tips for staying in shape, healthy, and gorgeous, all without chemicals and poisons. The blog and your monthly email updates are gratis and for those of you interested in receiving samples and discounts of the products Karrine loves, memberships are available in limited qualities.
How Do I Become a Member?
Becoming a member is easy. Just fill out the form below! You will be entered onto our wait list and we will send you an invitation as soon as a space opens up. Once you receive your invite, click the link that will take you to our payment center, fill in the required information, and receive a password that will unlock to Society56 members page. You'll begin to receive your Society56 beauty samples the following month.
What Is Society56?
Society56 is a young company that sprung up, quite innocently, from the blog and social networking sites of, New York Times best selling author, Karrine Steffans. Due to her open vocalization about her love of the products she uses and has used over time, the makers of these products began to notice a domino effect with those who follow the author and heed her recommendations. Karrine has begun working closely with such companies as Juice Beauty to begin supplying her readers with samples, via this subscription service, as well as promotional codes to utilize when customers order deluxe sized products from the manufacturer’s website.
What Makes Society56 Different?
Society56 is not like other beauty box services with which you may have become familiar. We are focused on natural, pure, and organic products. Also, our focus is on supporting small beauty business owners and not the larger conglomerates the average beauty box services may support. Our packaging is recyclable and derives from recycled materials. It is also very minimal; we are not interested in the wasteful box-within-a-box packaging to which other similar services subscribe.
How Does Society56 Picks Its Brands?
We are selective with the brands we offer to Society56 subscribers. Our motto is: the products we choose are the products we use; we will not put anything in our box we have not tested and loved.
Will There Be Reviews To Help with My Purchases?
Print and/or video reviews are made available each month for on Society56's Members Only page with purchasing links and promotional codes.
How Much Will My Subscription Cost?
The Society56 beauty box is moderately priced, making it easy to afford, therefore, more accessible. Enjoy your three (3) samples for just $3.99 a month.
How Long Will I Be On the Wait List?
Currently, Society56’s wait list boasts over 2100 people anxious to subscribe to our service and begin receiving their samples. We have only just opened our wait list April 26, 2012 and are thrilled to see more names being added to that list, everyday. As we gain more sponsors and receive more samples, we open the list and allow more members. There is no way to tell exactly how long you'll have to wait but, thus far, we estimate the average wait time will be just under three weeks.
When Will Society56 Officially Launch?
We're almost ready to begin sending out your sample boxes. We are working on the Member's page and tying up some technical loose ends. We will send out invitations in mid-February and our first shipments are scheduled to go out the end of April!
How Can I Submit My Natural, Green, or Organic Beauty Product?
We look forward to supplying our members with items from your product line! Feel free to send us an email at info@society56.com. You'll be prompted to send in a sample of your product(s). If we love them, we will review them and let you know how many samples we'll need for an upcoming shipment. We'll send you a sponsorship agreement and set up a promo code for your store. It's that simple!
